Writing Assignment Update As we prepare to write our own argumentative essays, we will watch one more media argument on Wednesday in order to reinforce our understanding of the classic format and components. If you are working from home, use the link below to access the video about the United States Postal Service. Watch and analyze the argument. Use the link to the graphic organizer to access a place to organize your work. Add this to your packet of notes for the other media arguments we have watched. These will be good models to reference as you write your own argument about public libraries. Be prepared to turn these in for a grade when you return to in-person learning. Literature Assignment Update 1. Be prepared to take Vocabulary Quiz #7 on Thursday, February 25. If you are working from home, you will need to email me at the beginning of your class period to make sure the Google Forms link is open for you. 2. Please continue working on your literary analysis essay over the novel Tunes for Bears to Dance To. You may use the links below to access the assignment and to access the chapters of the novel. Please choose a topic and begin your draft. Please continue to check this blog for the due date of the essay. We will decide on that this week. Please email during the school day if you have any questions about our assignments. Continue to check your emails for invitations to Google Meet so you can participate in class discussion later this week. Comments are closed.

A Classroom Prayer
Holy Spirit, Giver of all good gifts, enter into my mind and heart. Give me the gift of knowledge and the grace to use it wisely. Help me in all my endeavors. Give me perseverance and fortitude. Help my memory, that I may remember what I learn and recall it when necessary. Guide me in the classroom.
O Jesus, You who are the Way, the Truth, and the Life, let me not be deceived by false teaching. Our Lady of Good Studies, pray for me. Amen. Mary, Undoer of Knots,
Pray for Us! A Prayer to Christ, the Divine Teacher
O source of all Wisdom, Christ the Teacher,
You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Teach us to embrace the truths You have revealed to Your Church. Fill our souls with Your Grace that we may love God above all and our neighbors as ourselves. Christ Jesus, friend and Teacher most patient, bless us and teach us. O Light of the world, teach us always to follow You that we should not walk in darkness, but have forever the Light of Life! Amen. Archives
